Last summer, I had an unexpected fall and I thought I sprained my ankle. In time, I learned that I didn't actually sprain my ankle, but rather ruined my posterior tibial tendon. Additional issues came to light as a result of the injury, and so I braced myself for surgery in November followed by a long recovery.
But with help from my village and a lot of work in physical therapy, I'm THRILLED for the first session since my surgery. this afternoon, I'll help a local family welcome home their newborn baby.
So, it's with extreme gratitude in my heart that I say a simple but truly heartfelt thanks for everyone's patience. I'm so looking forward to working again.
