One day, a couple of weeks ago, I decided to take my daughters on a hike at Flat Rock Brook Nature Center in Englewood, New Jersey. They were so excited! They put on their best dresses (despite my protestations and the rising temperature) and sneakers (thanks to my good counsel), and off we went.
They really seemed to love reveling in nature, collecting leaves, reading about what kinds of trees created the canopy above us, and spying tiny frogs in the water.
Watching my daughters explore nature is one of the things I'm going to treasure most in this life.
I hope the same holds true for them.
Every month in 2018, I am participating in a photography project with a group of extremely thoughtful and talented photographers. Each photographer makes a series of 10 photos in a single day, and each photographer shares their series on the 10th day of every month. The goal? To tell a story.
