This morning, I woke up before everyone else. I arose at 6:37, to be exact. I made coffee and I watched the sun come up. I saw a family of deer pass through our yard, and I listened to the rumbling of the rock tumbler that I can hear churning away in the basement.
Looking around my home in the early morning quiet, in the early morning light, no one could ever forget that I have children. Inquisitive, curious, bright, independent children. Who, bless their dear hearts, have yet to learn to clean up after themselves.
From fingerprints on the glass fireplace doors to the Play-Doh hearts hardening on the window sill, one could never forget my life is blessed with these two special creatures.
See for yourself in February’s 10 on 10.
Every month in 2019, I am participating in a photography project with a group of extremely thoughtful and talented photographers. Each photographer makes a series of 10 photos in a single day, and each photographer shares their series on the 10th day of every month. The goal? To tell a story.
